About the school
Driving School 3 is located in Hafnarfjörður and manages the “Ö3” course, which is mandatory for those pursuing a driver’s license. The course combines theoretical learning with intensive practical training that allows you to experience driving in relevant conditions – before taking your driving test.
Our goal is to help you understand how the vehicle and you as a driver respond to real conditions – whether it’s icy roads, narrow passages, or emergency braking. With accessible registration and personalized instruction, we emphasize making the learning both understandable and effective for you.

When can I register for Ö3
When you have completed Ö1 and a minimum of 10 driving lessons with an instructor, and it is registered in your area on island.is (you need electronic ID or authentication app)
